I've been awesome since I last updated. Jess came into town, and I got to spend almost 5 days with my favorite person and better half. Awesome time. Thanks Joey, Ashley, Androo, Kevin, Roger, Drew, and Lydia for driving into town to hang out with us. It means a whole lot to me and I know Jess loved getting to see everyone and being able to get to know you all better. It was so great to be able to see Jess, and I get to see her as soon as I get out of camp in early August. We're going to go to an engagement weekend here in Austin that I can't wait for, she's helping me move back to College Station, and we're going to the Lord of the Rings exibit in Houston. I'm already anxious to see her again!

Last night I got to hang out with the some of my family that is most near but that I don't get to see enough. There is a whole lot of family that can be called my "half" family but they are a whole lot more. They are mostly the only people who understand my family's complexity without me lecturing about it; because they are part of it all. It's pretty messed up. It was good to see them. I need to make a better effort to spend more time with them because they are great people.

I'd like to send props to Mr. Joey Garza. Today is the first day of project 30/30. I think that's super duper. That guy is really motivated so give him a hug asap because there will be less to hug soon. I am going to try to be more motivated and work out more because this fall I want to be able to ride more competitively with the cycling team and maybe even get into some races this spring. I've talked to Androo about this before, but basically we both don't want to have peaked athletically at 18 years of age. High school sports were fun, but I don't want that to be the pinnacle.

Camp starts this Saturday, and I'm really pumped about it but I'll be missing my baby. 4 weeks is definitely do-able though. We can do it babe! Pretty soon I'll be 50 shades darker and forget what A/C feels like. It's lots of fun though so don't feel bad for me. I get paid shit though. You can feel bad for me about that, but it's no big deal. Things are going pretty well overall I must say. I have a whole lot to be thankful for. Thanks God. I don't say it enough.

I LOVE MY JESSICA!

Amor siempre,

Carlos

I have a lot to update everyone about! Lots of fun stuff has gone down.
For starters, I don't have my car anymore. I sold the Volvo and I bought my buddy Marc's MR2. The MR2 is a super sweet car with crazy amounts of 80's style. I've wanted one since I was in elementary school, so I'm really happy that I'm getting one. Plus, I'm getting a great deal, now just to wait for it to get here from North Carolina :( It's all good though. I'm happy about getting a car I've wanted for a long time, and I get to put some money aside from selling the Volvo. That's a big bonus. Waaay better gas mileage here we come!

JESS IS COMING IN 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tommorrow is my last day of summer school, then I'll have another 6 hours under my belt, and be done with my communications requirements. WEEEE!

So yeah, Jess is coming in on Thursday, which is in two days, and I can't wait. I haven't seen her for a month and a half and am soooo happy that she's almost here. If you aren't doing anything from the 30th to the 5th come and hang out with us! Unless your name is Ashley and you are mean as hell!! ((Not really, you can come too) ...maybe)

FOR JESS I know, I've heard you don't like the mushy stuff, so don't read this.
Babe, I can't wait to see you!! My fiance is amazing, I love you babe, and I thank God everyday for putting you in my life. Yes, even the rough days. :) You are the star that's in my sky... I love you so much babe!

I gotta run, it's haircut time!!!!!

Love Always,
Carlos

Adieu Volvo, you were a good car. You shall be missed.
Hello MR2.

So it's been update time for a little while. Things are going well, no complaints but lots of new stuff to tell you.
Jessica picked out an amazing wedding dress, for some crappy reason it won't let me paste the link in this box, but it's on her xanga page, JayDeeDoe23 on the 2nd to last post. You may think I'm not supposed to see it yet but the way we see it is I'm not supposed to see her in it. Check it out, it's gorgeous. Also yesterday we got the reservation for the reception site, Palm Valley here we come! It looks really nice, and it's literally about a minute drive from her house. SWEET!
Almost a week ago I had my first bike wreck. Besides a scraped knee, elbow, and a lot of skin missing from my hip I'm dandy. It's a milestone for a bike rider. Like puberty maybe. What I really mean is that my ass hurts but I'm fine, and after a few adjustments on my bike it's fine too. I should be back on my bike tommorrow, and that will make me happy. I applied to BCS bikes in College Station, and it looks like that's where I'll be working in the fall. Which would be great because I could do all my repairs, wholesale prices on parts or anything I want, and getting paid will be pretty nice.
School isn't bad, nothing is hard but English Comp can be time consuming. I got a 94 on my first speech in Public Speaking. So yeah pretty ho hum there. Most of my time is spent on this cycle of school, homework, eating, and sleeping. I'm just just counting down the days (20) till my baby comes into town. By the way, if you are in Texas then you should come into Austin between June 30th & July 5th to hang out with me and Jessica! I know she hasn't met everyone and it'll be great to see you! I hope you are great where ever you are while you read this, I'm prayin for you James, when are you coming back??? God bless us! Everyone!

Love always,
Carlos
